the roller coaster of emotions came into play
joy and peace heighten up my spirits
anger and sorrow trashed my heart down from heights
all in a day's motion
the innocent smile of mabel made everything so fine
this sweet little girl put all my troubles behind
she played with me and showed her cheeky self
she offered me her sweet and to no one else
unexpectedly, i saw light tears rolled
from the eyes of someone i so beloved and respected
she made a request
i would not say no
then my comfort zone was intruded
it was filled with noise and dirt
disturbed, i seeked refuge at my alma mater
only then did i felt better
had i not retreat to the asylum
i would have hurl things around
hurting every innocent object around me
hurting my own soul and my own body
now that everything is calm
i hope nothing will be coming to harm
so numb have i gotten
i wonder if i am still human
